| | Haven't blogged in awhile. Again. This is the third post in a row I've started off my blog as such. Hooray for consistency! =)
Testing this out, since I just synced Xanga to Facebook during one of my procrastination breaks from studying for my History midterm. Supposedly if I update here, it'll update on my notes in Facebook, yay!
I owe my thanks to Christi, since her post of 25 Random Things... alerted me to the fact that I could do this. I'll have to sit down and compile my 25 Random Things to post in response. I know for a fact that "I've had a cockroach in my ear and had to go to the ER to remove it." will definitely make the list. Maybe number 1!
Oh, yes, this is still one of my procrastination breaks, but I'm almost done studying and will be as ready as ever for my online midterm tomorrow morning. The time slot actually spans from 6am Saturday to 4pm Sunday, but since I'll be on the Princess Cruiseliner heading for the Mexican Riviera tomorrow afternoon... well, I don't feel like paying 35 cents a minute for a spotty connection while taking the test.
Taking 6 classes again this quarter, another 20 units. I took 19 units last quarter which were 2 sciences, an art history class, and a communications class vs. the four art classes plus a history class and a social sciences class and I feel so much more swamped this quarter than last. Maybe it's because the weather's nicer and I've been out mountain biking as much as I can, or the art classes really just take so much more time than the science classes. That and it's actually 2 more full classes, even though it's only 1 unit more. Ugh.
I'm learning that I can't make every project worthy of my portfolio and I just need to pick and choose which ones I want to focus all my energy in. So far that's fallen on my 3-D design projects. I must say, I love that class. LOVE it. Working in the Z dimension is just so wonderfully satisfying, I can't begin to describe. I'll post pics of the projects as I finish them, so far we've done a bas relief design of our name, and a 3-dimensional interpretation of a Picasso painting.
*sigh* back to reading. Hopefully to bed in an hour. Cheers all.
